Tina Harris has joined research consultancy The Platforum as head of employee platforms, leading the development of its research in the platform and corporate wrap sector.
Harris has worked in financial services for over 20 years, predominantly for large national IFAs including Origen where she formerly held the role of head of large corporate. She will oversee the publication of The Platforum’s first corporate platform research report, which will be available in November this year.
The Platforum has also appointed Jeremy Fawcett, former category director for financial services at Yahoo as head of digital and online, and Richard Bradley PhD as research associate.
Centaur Media, which publishes Corporate Adviser, bought The Platforum parent IPL for an initial £1.8m in August.
The Platforum managing director Holly Mackay says: “ “These new hires tell a story about where we see market growth and opportunity. Jeremy adds a whole new dimension to what we deliver – financial services companies are digital businesses but arguably not many of us are very good at it; we understand the platform bit of the corporate world but not the corporate customers and that’s where Tina’s experience is so important; and finally Richard has one of those scary, wonderful mathematical brains that will add important quantitative rigour to our qualitative expertise. I’m confident these hires make us a much fitter and broader business, ready for the changes and developments of the future.”
