DCisions, the data analytics company, will cease the collation of the FTSE DCisions Index Series following its acquistion by Interactive Investor last week.
DCisions has also retired its independent information service for consumers, InvestorBee, under the deal.
The FTSE DCisions Index Series reflects the asset allocation decisions made by leading UK Defined Contribution (DC) pension plans in their investment strategies, and gives a picture of outcomes actually achieved by investors.
The FTSE DCisions Index Series will stop on 31 December 2012 when DCisions will conclude independent data services.
Tim Huckle, CTO of Interactive Investor says: “this capability fits our vision of providing investors with the tools and insight to enable them to control their own investment decisions with confidence.”
Graham Mannion, managing director of DCisions says: “Our aim has always been to increase transparency and empower consumers. We are pleased to close this transaction with a company that shares these values.”
