New medical director for Bupa

Bupa is appointing Dr Karen Woo to the role of associate medical director, with responsibility for driving elements of the company\'s medical strategy.

Prior to joining Bupa, she spent five years working as a general surgeon, most recently at St Mary’s Hospital in London. She has also worked as a surgeon in the Manguzi Hospital in South Africa and hospitals in Australia, Papua New Guinea and Trinidad and Tobago.
