Medical second opinion service Best Doctors has appointed Enrique Cardona as its new vice president of operations for EMEAA (Europe, Australasia and Asia).
Before joining Best Doctors, Cardona was director of operations and sales at residential care company Caser Residencial.
From 2003 to 2012 Cardona served as general manager at the Hospital de Levante in Benidorm, which delivers complex health services, such as neurosurgery, cardiac and vascular surgery, oncology and nephrology/dialysis.
Prior to this, Cardona served as IT Director at Hospimar, where he was involved in creating Spain’s first completely paperless hospital.
Best Doctors was founded in 1989 by professors from Harvard University and is now available to more than 30m people in over 100 countries worldwide.
