Barclays Corporate & Employer Solutions has appointed Paul Wilson, formerly St James’s Place Wealth Management head of corporate marketing as head of employee benefit consulting as it looks to build up its workplace intermediary proposition.
It has also appointed Chris Mowatt, who now leads global stock & reward services. Mowatt has worked for 15 years in the share plans sector and joins from the Corporate Equity Solutions division at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.
Both join as directors, reporting to Richard Phelps, managing director at Barclays Wealth Advisory and head of Corporate & Employer Solutions. Phelps was appointed earlier this year to expand Barclays’ workplace proposition.
The appointments are the latest in a string of new hires at Barclays Corporate & Employer Solutions that include Steven Threader from JLT Benefit Solutions, Caroline Sheppard and Tim Parker, both from Johnson Fleming and David Pinner from Lighthouse Group.
