F&TRC is launching an auto-enrolment solution comparison tool to help advisers recommending providers to employers.
The F&TRC Quality Analyser comparison service, which is free to advisers, will launch on 22 April 2014.
The service offers three modules: workplace, protection and software. The workplace module has tools covering auto enrolment, GPP and GSIPP. The protection module has tools covering life, critical illness and income protection and the software module has tools covering compliant management systems, financial planning tools and risk profiling & portfolio construction. A Savings module will be launched in the future.
F&TRC has worked in collaboration with the Personal Finance Society (PFS) and the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) who have accredited its Quality Analyser auto enrolment training chapters. PFS members will receive 30 minutes of structured CPD for completion of each chapter. There are currently 13 auto enrolment chapter topics, with training on further subjects being developed and accredited.
F&TRC will be presenting on how Quality Analyser can help advisers support client’s Auto Enrolment requirements at the PFS’s 24 regional conferences, taking place during April, May and June.
The auto enrolment tool compares offerings from across the market, looking at pension providers, middleware solutions and corporate benefits advisers. It examines 23 key elements of an auto-enrolment solution, scores and weights the most important services highlighted by the client, provides a shortlist of appropriate auto enrolment solutions and then generates a detailed output report based on the stated preferences. It will be accessible at www.advisersoftware.com.
F&TRC managing director Ian McKenna says: “I believe Quality Analyser is the most comprehensive financial comparison service in the market. It’s unique in the fact it assesses the suitability of products from those organisations that are best able to support the post-RDR business models of advisers and also meets the financial requirements of the client, without compromising the needs of either party.
Personal Finance Society CEO Keith Richards says: “Quality Analyser is not only a valuable business support solution for auto-enrolment but it is also an effective accredited CPD learning tool.”
Syndaxi Financial Planning managing director Rob Reid says: “Given the plethora of offerings available, something that gives advisers the chance to assess the comparative value of different offerings is long overdue”.
